Ms. K. Kotrozou - Headmistress
Graduated from the National Kapodistrian University of Athens (faculty of Physics, 1980). She has a MSc in Computer Science (National Kapodistrian University of Athens, 1986), a MEd in Physics (Open Hellenic University, 2008) and a Proficiency Diploma in English language.
Ms. K. Kotrozou has a thirty-year experience in preparing students for the University Entry Qualification Exams and a fifteen year experience as a teacher and, at the same time, being headmistress of the school, combining in this way years of teaching Physics with administrative experience.
She has joined scientific groups, among which are the followings:
- She has been Coordinator of the Project for Teachers Training in new Technologies in the Evia island (2002 ? 2003)
- She has been a member of Central Committee of State Exams (subject of Physics 1999 ? 2001)
- She has been a member of Scientific team for the Production and Assessment of Multimedia teaching material (Faculty of Pedagogy, University of Athens, 1999 ? 2000)
- She has been a Member of Committee of the Pedagogical Institute for the Qualification of Physics books for upper secondary education (1999)
- She has acted as Multiplier factor during the Educational Reform (1998-1999)
She has hosted in the school many seminars and training courses about Science and Mathematics and she has organized meetings about Environmental, Cultural projects and Theatrical performances with big success and audience participation.
She has participated as a speaker in the following:

- 1st Conference of Environmental Projects for Schools (University of Aegean, 2005)
- Informative meetings of the PSSC pilot schools program (1998-1999).

Her teaching methods include the use of all available tools, frontal lab as well as educational software packages. Her goal is to re-imagine the science classroom of tomorrow and to realize the potential of e-Science for engaging students in scientific inquiry.
